Tonight, while drunk quite heroically on tequila and other sprites, yours truly has won a fedora for herself, black as a poet's dreams and much envied by her contemporaries (well, co-workers, but the former sounds that much cooler.)
I now have a hat that suits me.
Other than that, I find myself, quite inebriated, reciting poetry aloud to nothing but the cool night air, right now "rage, rage, against the dying of the light" by Dylan Thomas, but Hal Duncan's Sonnets for Orpheus No. XII is conquering my brain like the sophisticated rogue it is.
What poems to you like to sing out loud to yourself and others? (Warning: once sober, I may yet make a prize draw out of this, so comment!!)
